We are located on the corner of Bretonside and North Street, approximately 100m from Bretonside bus station and only a short distance from Plymouth's Historic Barbican with its mixture of old and new shops and restaurants to places of historic importance.

BY BUS: From Bretonside bus station exit the bus and follow the path towards the right until you reach a road, then turn left towards The King's Head pub. With the pub on your left walk along the road for approximately 2mins and you we will see The Swallow in front on the left.
BY TRAIN: Exit the train station to the left until you reach a road, then turn left following the signs to the city centre through the underpass. Continue through the city centre in a straight line. You will see the sundial, walk on pass this until the next road, Royal Parade. When reached turn left and follow the path to the roundabout at the top. You will see the main Post Office on the left, walk past this and you will see steps down to the bus station. Continue until the far exit ramp and follow it down to the road to the right. Then as above.
BY CAR FROM CORNWALL: From the A38 follow the signs to the city centre. After passing Central Park on the left hand side follow the road down to Pennycomequick, taking the second exit at the roundabout up the hill towards North Cross. At the next roundabout take the second exit and follow the road until you reach another roundabout where Charles Cross church remains on it. At this roundabout take the third exit over the viaduct. Then first exit at the next roundabout containing Gydnia fountain. Follow Bretonside around towards the left until you reach a mini roundabout, head left and the pub is a short distance ahead on the left-hand side.
BY CAR FROM EAST DEVON & BEYOND: Follow the signs for the city centre from the A38, leaving at Marsh Mills with Sainsbury's on your left. Follow the road for approximately half a mile, bearing left when the sign post directs. You will be on Gydnia Way, the road merges into your lane from the left and then bends to the right. At the roundabout, just after the bend take the first exit following the signs towards the Barbican, bearing left when instructed. As you enter Bretonside you will see The Swallow just ahead on the right.
